ROLEDESCRIPTION -

The AWS Transformation Lead is responsible for driving cloud adoption and modernization initiatives across enterprise environments. This role focuses on designing, implementing and optimizing AWS-based solutions while ensuring scalability, security and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and observability platforms to enable automated, resilient and well‑monitored cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead AWS transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

Design scalable, secure and cost‑optimized AWS architectures for applications and infrastructure.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible for provisioning, configuration and deployment.

Establish reusable templates and modules to standardize infrastructure deployments.

Integrate and configure observability tools like Datadog and Splunk for real‑time monitoring, logging and alerting.

Develop dashboards and automated alerts to ensure system health and performance.

Enforce AWS best practices for security compliance and cost management.

Implement tagging strategies, resource policies and guardrails for governance.

Partner with application teams, DevOps engineers and stakeholders to ensure smooth migration and modernization.

Mentor teams on AWS services, IaC practices and observability frameworks.

AWS Expertise Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).

IaC Tools Hands‑on experience with Terraform (modules, workspaces, state management) and Ansible (playbooks, roles).

Observability Tools Proficiency in Datadog (APM, metrics, logs) and Splunk (log ingestion, dashboards, alerts).

Automation & CI/CD Familiarity with pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline).

Security & Compliance Understanding of AWS security best practices, IAM policies and compliance frameworks.

Soft Skills Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
