Base Pay Range $83,492.00/yr - $125,292.00/yr
Position Summary The Low Voltage APM (Non-Working Foreman) is responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise in the execution of structured cabling projects within hyperscale data centers and commercial construction environments. This position ensures project objectives are achieved through effective coordination, resource management, and adherence to quality standards. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the APM oversees day-to-day operations, supervises subcontractor field teams, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety protocols along with adherence with end user specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop manpower plans, allocate resources, and manage materials to ensure timely project completion.
Direct and supervise project activities, leading subcontractor teams and technicians to achieve daily and overall project goals.
Enforce compliance with safety regulations, HR guidelines, and organizational policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client coordination, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Maintain technical accuracy, quality standards, and profitability targets while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Establish crew objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to project leadership.
Prepare and deliver detailed status reports to customers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Years of experience: 3+
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to accurate timekeeping and operational efficiency.
Demonstrated expertise in structured cabling standards with proven ability to lead projects and manage teams of 5 or more technicians.
Proficiency in telecom drawing interpretation and comprehensive project planning.
Skilled in terminating jacks, patch panels, and 66/110 blocks, adhering to 568A/B wiring standards.
Ability to utilize Fluke testers for verification and troubleshooting of voice/data connectivity.
Familiarity with Copper and fiber cabling requirements, as well as closet buildouts.
Familiarity with high strand count fiber, furcation, & splicing.
Physical capability to lift and position up to 50 lbs and utilize ladder for inspection purposes.
Ownership of standard low-voltage tools (snips, strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches, VFL).
Flexibility to work second/third shifts, overtime, and in high‑pressure environments.
Must be a US Citizen.
Ability to travel 30‑50% of the time.
