Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and client-focused estate planning attorney to join our growing practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about helping individuals and families protect their assets, plan for the future, and preserve their legacy through thoughtful, strategic estate planning.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and review comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Advise clients on estate, gift, and trust planning strategies to minimize tax exposure and protect assets
Guide clients through probate and estate administration, including court filings and fiduciary support
Provide succession planning for family-owned businesses and closely held entities
Counsel clients on elder law, special needs planning, and long-term care considerations
Collaborate with financial advisors, CPAs, and other professionals to deliver integrated planning solutions
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through clear communication and trusted counsel
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license and good standing with the Florida Bar
Must have performed 300 trust-based estate plans and 100 formal administrative probate cases
Willing to take a regular associate – 50 estate plans, at least be the attorney of record for 25 probate cases
5+ years of experience in estate planning, trusts & estates, or elder law
Strong knowledge of probate procedures, trust administration, and estate tax principles
High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ethical judgment
Preferred Experience
Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families
Background in asset protection or business succession planning
Familiarity with estate planning software and legal practice management systems
