We are seeking an experienced

Sr.

Workplace Investigator

to conduct complex, sensitive investigations involving workplace misconduct, compliance violations, and policy breaches.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead end-to-end investigations from initial intake through final reporting on allegations concerning workplace misconduct or compliance concerns, such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, conflict of interest, policy violations, and whistleblower complaints. Determine appropriate scope of investigation, including locating and interviewing staff and others often involving sensitive subjects; obtaining and analyzing evidence; preparing detailed written investigative reports. Analyze policy to determine if a conduct violation exists and clearly state the assessment of facts weighed against policy in findings. Design and lead implementation of investigation policies and best practices to enhance organizational compliance programs Manage complex caseloads of concurrent investigations while maintaining quality standards and meeting tight deadlines. Develop comprehensive investigation plans outlining process sequences, timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder responsibilities. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including People & Culture/HR , IT, Finance, and external counsel. Maintain familiarity with internal company policiesand procedures Ensure investigation compliance with legal standards, data privacy requirements (GDPR, CCPA), and attorney‑client privilege considerations Provide legal risk assessments and strategic recommendations for corrective actions and organizational improvements. Manage communications with external regulators when required, including drafting responses to official inquiries such as EEOC Charges, OSHA complaints, and DOL audits. Draft detailed investigation reports with factual findings, credibility determinations, and actionable recommendations Facilitate post‑investigation debriefs with department leads and People Team leadership on outcomes and corrective measures Develop and conduct training for various internal stakeholders on investigatory practices, as well as other training related to workplace conduct issues, including prevention of sexual harassment, anti‑bullying, and company policies Provide training and consultation across the organization including leadership, People Team and key stakeholders on broad trends and risk mitigation strategies

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in liberal arts, public administration, business management, administration, social or behavioral sciences, management, or related field. Five years of experience in Human Resources/People and/or workplace investigation experience with formal training preferred (AWI, ACFE certifications highly valued) Familiarity with employment laws across multiple jurisdictions, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and workplace safety regulations Advanced writing skills with ability to produce clear, comprehensive reports for diverse audiences Critical thinking capabilities to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and credibility issues Case management proficiency using investigation software and document management systems Data privacy knowledge including GDPR, HIPAA, and state data protection laws

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS One of more of the following qualifications and experience are preferred, but not required: 2+ years employment law experience including litigation, advice and counsel, and regulatory compliance Legal research proficiency using Westlaw, Lexis, and other legal databases Association of Workplace Investigation Certificate Holder AWI-CH An active Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) certification Certification in data privacy and/or data security MBA, Juris Doctor Law enforcement investigations experience

Compensation

: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
