Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all security operations for events at both venues.
Lead, supervise, and support a team of approximately 150 security staff members.
Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline security staff for the efficient operation of the security department.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage for all events.
Ensure 100% compliance with all company security policies, procedures, and standards, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Serve as a visible and approachable leader during events while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Coordinate security needs between both venues to ensure consistent operations.
Effectively de‑escalate tense or challenging situations in a calm, professional manner, resolving issues without causing further disruption or escalation; maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, artists, staff, and partners.
Move throughout the venue and all areas, visually monitoring and taking corrective action when needed.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in event security management, preferably in a live entertainment or venue environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required (college coursework or degree a plus).
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Proven people‑management skills with the ability to lead large teams effectively.
Professional, approachable demeanor with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Position requires walking, including extended periods of walking during events, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.
