Quality Control Auditor Overview PlanITROI is seeking a highly detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Control Auditor for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a 90-day conversion period. In this elevated role, you will audit end-to-end quality processes, verify adherence to established procedures, and ensure all IT hardware products consistently meet PlanITROI’s rigorous quality and compliance standards. This position plays a key role in strengthening our quality management system, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining our reputation for excellence within the ITAD Industry.

Key Responsibilities Quality Process Auditing

Conduct comprehensive audits of production line workflows, refurbishment processes, and testing procedures to verify compliance with PlanITROI’s Quality Assurance standards.

Perform in-depth inspections and functional tests on IT hardware, including laptops, desktops, tablets, PCs, notebooks, monitors, and accessories.

Validate that quality checks at each stage of production are completed accurately and consistently.

Issue Identification & Root Cause Support

Identify process deviations, quality failures, or non-conforming units and elevate findings through proper channels.

Participate in root cause investigations and support the development and documentation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Monitor the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions to ensure sustained improvement.

Final Acceptance Audits

Conduct final audit inspections on completed units to approve compliant items and quarantine or reject items that do not meet standards.

Verify that all required documentation, test results, and product configurations align with customer requirements and internal specifications.

Documentation & Reporting

Accurately record audit results, non-conformance, and trend data within internal systems.

Generate clear, timely audit reports and communicate discrepancies with leadership, production teams, and technicians.

Assist in maintaining and improving quality documentation, checklists, and SOPs.

Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Provide actionable feedback that enhances overall quality, performance, and technician accountability.

Recommend improvements to processes, tools, and inspection methodologies to drive efficiency and quality enhancement.

Promote adherence to safety, organization, and quality best practices throughout the facility.
