This is a permanent, full-time daytime role, working Monday to Friday, with flexibility required during peak periods and offers an annual salary up to £29,500.00, depending on skills and experience.
Tasks and responsibilities: Responsible for supporting the Transport Manager in providing a first-class client service by ensuring all vehicles arrive and depart on time, and that all administrative and support activities are completed accurately.
Update daily dock plan and monitor vehicle movements
Review forecasts to ensure capacity
Liaise with carriers and resolve issues
Coordinate between warehouse and customer service teams
Plan UK/EU loads cost-efficiently
Ensure compliance with transport procedures
Profile:
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry
Comfortable working in both warehouse and office environments
Adaptable with a hands-on approach to tasks
Good geographical knowledge for route planning - preferred but not mandatory
Experience in logistics and/or transport – preferred but not mandatory
