## Job Description# Tooling & Equipment Project Manager* Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for tooling and equipment projects.* Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and suppliers.* Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.* Source and evaluate suppliers for tooling and industrial equipment.* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.* Manage vendor relationships and oversee compliance with specifications and quality standards.* Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial equipment and tooling.* Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation.* Validate equipment performance and handover to operations.* Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.* Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and management.* Drive continuous improvement in project execution and cost efficiency.* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.* 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.* Proven expertise in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation.* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment specifications.* Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.* Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, SAP, or similar).* Strong communication and leadership abilities.* **Preferred:** PMP certification and experience with lean manufacturing principles.* We offer weekly pay, direct deposit, competitive pay rates* Health/Medical benefits, Life Insurance, 401k, Employee Stock Purchase Program* Discounts to most major certification programs, access to multiple technical training platforms and programs**Apex Benefits Overview:** Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
