Position Overview:

The Operations Technician (OT) is responsible for maintaining DAS venues under maintenance and monitoring contracts. This role includes performing physical construction tasks, supporting technology modernization efforts, and serving as the first line of defense in meeting contractual warranty and maintenance obligations. Key Responsibilities:

Reports to the Operations Manager (OM). Supports the OM and Director of Construction Services with tasks related to implementing telecommunications facilities including DAS, Wi‑Fi, Cell Towers, Femto‑Cells, and Small Cells. Supports and performs construction activities including cable pulling, connectorizing, equipment mounting, rack assembly, testing coaxial and fiber optic lines, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, CW testing, and commissioning. Obtains and maintains required technical certifications. Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures. Performs additional tasks as required or requested by supervisor. Qualifications:

Certified to terminate coaxial cable. Knowledge and experience in proper handling, installation, and support of coaxial and fiber optic cable. Experience installing DAS equipment, antennas, Carrier Base Station equipment, and head‑end equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Mail, Calendar, People, OneDrive, SharePoint, Planner, Tasks, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher, and MS Project. Ability to use company Project Management Tools and other deployed technologies. Proficiency with testing equipment such as Solutelia, Anritsu, PIM, OTDR, and related tools. Ability to interpret RF data collection, coaxial sweep test results, OTDR results, and CAT‑type cable tests. Familiarity with OEM technologies including Airspan, Solid, JMA, ADRF, Andrew, and others.
