Installer Service Specialist
The Installer Service Specialist is an experienced and technical parts specialist who services the needs of professional customers through the store’s installer counter. This position oversees and directs the daily activity of the delivery specialist to ensure customers receive accurate and timely order deliveries.
Essential Job Functions
Work with installers/professional customers to develop sales relationships.
Take customer orders over the phone and online, invoice orders, pick and stage parts for delivery, and route delivery specialists to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained, complete vehicle inspections on time, and enter daily mileage into fleet devices.
Work with Sales Specialists/Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service to professional customers.
Verify all product/merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave the store.
Ensure customers’ core and warranty returns are picked up and credited promptly.
Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and tag/labeled correctly.
Assist at the front counter and retail counter as needed.
Help with backroom duties such as auto-load, returns, stock, etc.
Assist with customer labor claims, ensuring they are processed quickly and efficiently.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities Required:
Strong background in mechanics.
Above average communication skills.
Desired:
Hands‑on knowledge of automotive repairs.
ASE Certification.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
