The Tradition Senior Living is a Texas-based Luxury Senior Living organization committed to excellence in all we do to serve our residents. Since our inception, we have expanded to multiple locations in the Dallas, Houston, and Fort Worth areas. Each community offers a comprehensive continuum of care that includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
Floor Tech We are currently seeking a Floor Tech at our Houston-Woodway community. In this role, you will be responsible for shampooing and waxing of floors throughout the community, including carpet and hard surfaces. The Floor Tech reports directly to our Housekeeping Director who oversees day to day operations of the community’s Housekeeping department.
Responsibilities
Operate carpet shampoo and floor waxing machines to maintain clean floors throughout the community
Clean and sanitize residences and contents, including, but not limited to, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning kitchen and bath fixtures, turning mattresses, moving light furniture, emptying trash receptacles
Other cleaning duties for resident apartments, offices, bathrooms, and other common areas in the community
Assist with cleaning and refurbishing of vacated residences as they become vacant
Keep housekeeping carts clean and organized
Keep carts stocked with appropriate cleaning supplies in OSHA-approved containers
Perform all other duties as assigned
Required
Experience in private or hospitality-based cleaning environments or equivalent experience and education.
Ability to understand and operate cleaning equipment.
Ability to work in a systematic fashion.
Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
Ability to interact positively with others.
Demonstrates caring and compassionate attitude.
