Agile Project Manager

Overview Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) seeks an Agile Project Manager to lead and deliver projects using Agile principles while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, customer expectations, and operational excellence. This role focuses on end‑to‑end project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
Project & People Management: Lead the full project lifecycle from requirements definition and planning through execution, deployment, and final delivery.
Manage and motivate cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
Plan, allocate, and manage project resources including personnel, schedules, and budgets.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and impediments.
Track and report project performance using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and delivery forecasts.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, contractual requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Establish strong relationships with clients, internal teams, senior leadership, and external partners.
Communicate project goals, timelines, risks, and outcomes to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Prepare and deliver regular status reports, briefings, and executive updates.
Proactively resolve conflicts within project teams or with stakeholders.
Negotiate scope, timelines, priorities, and resources with stakeholders and vendors.
Agile Delivery & Continuous Improvement: Apply Agile principles, facilitate ceremonies, support backlog refinement, coach and mentor teams.
Use lessons learned to improve team effectiveness and project outcomes.
Tools & Reporting: Utilize Jira, Trello, Asana, ServiceNow, or similar for planning, tracking, and reporting.
Leverage data and metrics to inform decisions and improve delivery performance.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of relevant project management experience.
Demonstrated experience managing projects from initiation through delivery.
Active TS/SCI clearance (requires TS Clearance; also must obtain CI Poly).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to obtain CI Poly.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must manage multiple efforts with time constraints in a fast‑paced contracting environment.
Effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience working from a home office; can train end users.
Ability to provide technical assistance over the phone; professional demeanor, customer service experience.
Good problem‑solving skills; ability to visualize and think abstractly.
