Schedule: Fulltime 7p‑7a, rotating every third weekend

Job Summary Supervises the daily activities of frontline staff in the Patient Logistics Center.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring of departmental staff.
Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and adjusts staffing levels to meet productivity needs. Takes a staffing assignment when necessary.
Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
Oversees the facilitation of Transfers and Patient Placement across the region in a timely and efficient manner.
Addresses real‑time barriers to regional capacity management and ministry teams.
Facilitates as lead disaster management communicator for Patient Logistics, including the regional incident command center, utilizing emergency management application and facilitating regional emergency response plans.
Participates in multidisciplinary meetings, committees and projects addressing issues related to educational initiatives, conflict resolutions, implementation of new services/systems and performance measures.
Works collaboratively with leadership to meet and exceed Patient Logistics performance standards.
Demonstrates professional nursing standards defined in the professional practice model, using the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
Experience
Five years’ experience in nursing with demonstrated progressive leadership.
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0‑25 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25‑50 lbs.
Rare climbing.
