Lifecycle Manager

LaunchTech is seeking a Lifecycle Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position owns the full lifecycle of IT hardware and virtual assets — from planning and documentation to tech refresh, audits, compliance, and support agreements. The role supports the C2BMC Labs and Warfighter Support (CLAW) environment and collaborates closely with engineering and architecture teams to ensure systems remain current, supported, and aligned with mission objectives.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of the full IT hardware and virtual asset lifecycle
Support C2BMC Labs and Warfighter Support (CLAW) on the IRES contract
Work with Architecture and Engineering teams to identify tech refresh needs
Maintain documentation on all in-use hardware and software, including EOS/EOL, contract levels, user guides, and support numbers
Work with Architecture and Engineering teams on tech refresh timelines and recommended versions
Support contract renewals for IT support agreements (hardware and software), including
Identifying levels of support needed to maintain systems while remaining fiscally conservative
Keeping contract information ready for customer briefings
Assist in audits and reconcile asset inventories to ensure accuracy and compliance
Coordinate with engineering leaders to support the application of Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement for non-manufacturing engineering processes
Provide status updates and briefings to leadership, including senior government customers and stakeholders
Use interpersonal skills to resolve technical and organizational conflicts
Perform other assigned duties as required to meet new requirements
Basic Requirements
3 or more years of general (full-time) work experience (may be reduced with completion of advanced education)
2.5 years of experience in an IT-related field
Demonstrated understanding needed to plan and manage complex resources against constraints
Strong understanding of MS Office applications (including Visio)
Active Secret Clearance (or obtain within 6 months; candidate cannot start without at least an interim Secret Clearance)
Desired Requirements
Familiarity with IT concepts and supporting infrastructure (communication networks, computer and networking hardware, cable installations, etc.)
Strong understanding of MS Office applications (including Project)
Experience successfully working IRES change processes, including CRQs
Understanding of BMC Remedy
Knowledge of Missile Defense, DoD communications systems, and MDIOC operations
Degree in an IT or Engineering-related discipline
Demonstrated record of proactively achieving organizational goals and objectives
