Job Title QA Supervisor (Nights)

Responsibilities

Oversee blending of raw materials to product mineral batches according to company standards and to meet production demand; maintain mineral inventory.

Oversee laboratory duties to include microbiological testing of finished product and environmental monitoring.

Oversee stocking, rotating and maintenance of lab supplies and equipment; complete daily paperwork and report results to Supervisor.

Oversee performance of internal audits of plant sanitation, GMP’s and machine operation functions and report results to Supervisor.

Ensure that all quality systems are being adhered to and maintained at all times.

Perform root cause/corrective action investigations for non-conformances.

Oversee safety team activities; monitor and enforce safety requirements.

Build a positive work environment.

Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.

Serve as a backup to the QA Manager in tasks relating to food safety and food quality within the facility when the QA Manager is out.

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment

4 Years – Experience in Position

4 Years – Experience managing people/projects

Education Minimum Required

Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Quality, Biological Sciences, Engineering or other related field

Master's Degree in Food Science, Quality, Biological Sciences, Engineering or other related field
