Residential Treatment Program Supervisor – SUD
Annual Salary: $56,000 + $5,000 Sign‑on Bonus
Monday – Friday: 1 pm to 9 pm
The South Eastern Family Project (SEFP) within Hampton‑Newport News Community Services Board is reopening a comprehensive 3.5/3.1 residential treatment program for non‑pregnant, pregnant, and recently postpartum women diagnosed with substance use disorder. As Supervisor, you will lead and support a skilled clinical team in delivering person‑centered care and ensuring program compliance in a gender‑specific environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision and direct oversight of line staff, including training, performance evaluation, and eligibility screening.
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, offer counseling, and facilitate discharge planning.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Coordinate quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with external agencies to support client care.
Monitor client behaviors, promote holistic well‑being, and implement prevention, intervention, and support strategies.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Human Services, Counseling, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with substance‑use disorder clients, preferably in a residential setting.
Registered as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) with the Virginia Board of Counseling or eligibility for CSAC Supervision Approval within 30 days of hire.
Demonstrated supervisory experience and strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
