Job Title Sourcing Specialist II
Responsibilities
Manage purchasing activities for specific categories or projects in close coordination with Category Managers and business stakeholders.
Achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery performance.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand laboratory business requirements and drive sourcing initiatives.
Lead the sourcing process (RFI, RFQ) and negotiate with suppliers with support from technical experts.
Implement change management and test plans to ensure adoption of sourcing practices across the organization.
Conduct market research, cost and risk assessment, and analyse procurement data to identify improvement opportunities.
Integrate supplier diversity, sustainability, cash‑flow improvement, automation and digitisation into the sourcing process.
Lead negotiations and contract development, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual issues.
Prioritise projects, adapt to purchasing needs, and work autonomously without constant oversight.
Additional Responsibilities
Oversee supplier selection, RFP process, contracting, and supplier performance.
Create a knowledge base on categories, market dynamics and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with national commodity and contracting strategies.
Manage procurement tools such as Coupa, e‑catalogues and pricing policies.
Track spend post‑acquisition and coordinate multi‑site group contracts.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of purchasing or related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.
Experience in sourcing or purchasing (desired).
Familiarity with Coupa Source‑to‑Pay a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Science or a related field (preferred).
Work Details Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Candidates living within commutable distance of Leola, PA are encouraged to apply.
