Product Manager
– Mankato, MN
We are partnering with a leading supplier in the complex assembly industry to hire a Product Manager to drive growth and enhance customer relationships. The role offers a competitive salary of $65,000–$85,000 per year, plus a generous benefits package.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Partner with internal teams to coordinate projects, communicate clearly, and ensure smooth collaboration across departments.
Address customer questions and challenges promptly, identifying effective solutions that strengthen long‑term relationships.
Oversee quoting activity, ensuring proposals are accurate, timely, and aligned with company profitability goals.
Monitor account performance and profitability, protecting target margins and identifying areas for growth.
Manage customer requests, including purchase orders, order updates, engineering changes, returns, and corrective actions.
Conduct on‑site and virtual meetings with customers to foster ongoing engagement and collaboration.
Prepare and execute account plans, reviewing forecasts, tracking sales activity, and supporting business growth strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
5+ years in a project or account management role (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Advanced motivational and negotiation skills.
Exceptional analytical skills for customer data.
Maintain a positive attitude and a desire to serve our customers exceptionally well.
Ability to work with a team or independently as needed.
