Responsibilities
Oversee vendors & contractors to maintain buildings, grounds, & operations
Move furniture and equipment as needed
Inspect buildings and grounds daily to identify safety issues, repair issues, & maintenance needed
Perform light maintenance as needed – e.g., change light bulbs, minor plumbing repairs, etc.
Coordinate maintenance activities with Regional Facility Managers (RFMs) and local contractors
Responsible for maintaining site environmental, health, & safety (EHS) regulations compliance
Responsible for maintaining fire & life safety systems compliance
Responsible for compliance with company security policies (site physical security & IT cybersecurity)
Site business administration duties include submitting vendor and contractor invoices for payment
Maintain good working relationships with site leadership
Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week
On‑call position. May need to work over 40 hours on occasion, as needed. Required to respond to after‑hours emergencies, planned critical maintenance, or special events (overtime eligible).
Maintain composure in challenging situations
Assist other departments to fulfill site needs
Able to use hand/power tools if needed
Qualifications
Must be able to work at the Port Saint Lucie site.
Minimum of 6 months experience required, 1 year preferred in building maintenance.
Flexible to work any 5 days of the week between 9:30 AM – 6 PM
May need to work over 40 hours per week (as required), and required to come in for any emergencies and critical maintenance.
Good communication skills – able to articulate events happening at the site clearly and concisely. Must be able to effectively communicate with vendors, site admin, and leadership.
Basic business acumen – able to present information and data in Excel/Office tools for business cases on expenditures, project requests, and site portfolio.
Proficiency with computers & Microsoft Office applications as this role requires communication and reporting via emails, messaging applications, work order ticketing systems.
Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
Basic understanding of engineered building systems – HVAC, CRAC units, electrical distribution systems, standby diesel generator systems, UPS systems, fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, security alarms.
Able to clear extensive background check.
