Job Description In this position you will serve as a key member of the Product Alliances global team, managing Ford’s vehicle and component alliances with OEMs and JV partners throughout the product and engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key member of the Product Alliances global team, managing Ford’s vehicle and component alliances with OEMs and JV partners throughout the product and engineering lifecycle.

Align with Corporate Strategy and Partnership teams on global alliance activities.

Coordinate contract negotiations, documentation, and amendments with internal and external legal teams.

Build effective relationships with external alliance managers to facilitate efficient collaboration.

Work cross‑functionally with internal departments such as Tech Strategy, Corporate Strategy, Product Development, Purchasing, Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance, Government Affairs, Public Affairs, and Office of General Council to manage alliances and resolve issues.

Organize and manage alliance governance meetings and internal reviews.

Contribute to the development and dissemination of best practices for product alliance team.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software, or Computer Engineering; or an equivalent degree.

5+ years of experience with embedded software development or similar software environment.

5+ years of experience with a software development environment.

5+ years of familiarity with product development, finance, and purchasing processes.

M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software or Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree.

+10 years of experience with embedded software development or similar software environment.

Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and strategic thinking in dynamic environments.

Strong ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to non‑experts.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Experience in project management, strategy, or planning.

Ability to travel to Ford and partner sites in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and China.

Experience with automated software development tools and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.

Proven experience in managing or developing external alliances.

Experience with Ford electrical architectures and subsystems.

Experience in multicultural teams is an asset.
