Summary Thompson Houston is now hiring new colleagues to join the hotel’s opening team. Set in a soaring 36‑story skyscraper, Thompson Houston + The Residences at the Allen is the city’s newest and most fashionable landmark. This architectural marvel sets a stylish scene for influential locals, seasoned globetrotters, and cultural tastemakers to meet and connect, luxuriate, and celebrate. The hotel’s coveted location in verdant Buffalo Bayou Park centers the property as a veritable oasis within the city. Opening Fall 2023, this luxury oasis boasts 172 luxury guestrooms, including 34 breathtaking suites, and a private collection of 100 residences. Unmatched amenities include a full‑service spa, a well‑equipped fitness center, several destination restaurants, a private heliport, an expansive one‑acre pool deck, and over 17,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event spaces. Responsibilities Spa Coordinators host and foster an atmosphere of calm and relaxation. Primary responsibilities include scheduling treatments, guest registration, and processing forms of payment to include room charges, credit cards, and cash. As a Spa Coordinator, you will be responsible for spa reservations, whether it is a deluxe spa package or an individual spa treatment. This position is also responsible for making product and treatment recommendations to spa guests. This individual promotes wellness and serves as the final point of contact for an indigenous spa experience. Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Previous administrative experience preferred.
Must have flexible work availability to include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Able to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight.
Able to walk and stand throughout the duration of the shift.
