Description This role is a key member of the corporate development / M&A team. Supporting deal leads, this role will support select aspects of the M&A process, including sourcing, business case development, valuation modeling, and due‑diligence related analysis. Over time there will be opportunity to take on more ownership of the full end‑to‑end process, based on demonstrated ability and performance. The position requires intensive data analysis, spreadsheet modeling, and PowerPoint presentation development.
Responsibilities Include
Sourcing / Deal Flow – Support outbound outreach to acquisition targets and inbound solicitations from investment bankers.
Update / maintain acquisition target database with current deal activity, and monitor / review for opportunities for follow‑up.
Valuation Modeling – Lead the end‑to‑end process to develop the financial valuation model and budget for assigned acquisitions.
Collaborate with functional groups to gather and synthesize business assumptions and corporate financial metrics to inform financial forecasts.
Manage cross‑functional diligence process to build investment layer, cost synergies, and operational budgets for valuation models.
Support data room management and due‑diligence process by working collaboratively with cross‑functional diligence teams.
Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support diligence priorities for a given acquisition opportunity.
Support preparation of materials for Executive Committee and Board communications regarding acquisition opportunities.
Support development of business case presentations and Board transaction committee presentations.
Support ad‑hoc analyses to inform business case development and corporate development benchmark KPIs, including acquisition performance, corporate performance, market opportunity analyses, and pricing analyses.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in a finance role.
2+ years of experience in investment banking, strategy / management consulting, or corporate development with formal training in financial modeling / valuation analysis.
Data analysis and financial modeling experience.
Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Software / Technology background strongly preferred.
BS/BA degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering strongly preferred.
Strong collaborative team player.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple deadlines.
Superior organizational and communication skills.
Proactive approach to learning new skill sets on an accelerated learning curve.

The pay range for this position is $112,300 to $161,400, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job‑related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for short‑term and long‑term incentives as part of total compensation.
