We are seeking a mission-driven Residential Program Manager to play a key role in helping children build essential life skills in a therapeutic, supportive environment. A Day in the Life You will be responsible for coordinating both staff and client activities within an assigned unit. This includes developing and implementing programs that meet clients' needs, overseeing the placement and progress of each youth, evaluating program effectiveness, and maintaining regulatory and accreditation standards.
How This Position Contributes to our Mission
Supervise, mentor, train, and develop the departmental staff, including Youth Support Specialists and Assistant Program Managers
Responsible for scheduling, adequate staffing, time card review, overtime approval and employee evaluations.
Participate in treatment planning to ensure appropriate services are available to address the emotional, behavioral, spiritual and physical needs of the client
Maintain a structured program schedule for residents and team members that is consistent, trauma-informed, and holistic.
Maintains Safe Crisis Management (SCM) certification and participates in SCM intervention with clients as needed.
Provide on-call emergency support
Residential Program Manager Skills and Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age
Two years of education from a college or university and two years of experience in child-caring facility or high school diploma/equivalency with five years of experience in a child-caring facility are required; Bachelor's degree in a human services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling) preferred.
Experience with recovery-based treatment plans and behaviorally oriented programs preferred
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record required
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
Must be available for on-call duties during emergencies, as well as have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays when necessary
