Responsibilities
Maintain shopping carts, assist customers with loading merchandise, and provide vehicle assistance as requested.
Check retail prices on shelves for check stand personnel.
Retrieve and return merchandise from the check stand and aisles, and face merchandise as necessary.
Monitor cleanliness of store entrance and interior – sweep, mop, and clean regularly.
Restock restrooms and perform general store maintenance.
Assist customers with purchases and merchandise returns.
Qualifications
Read and write English, interact with the general public and co-workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
Basic PC/Outlook skills (extra). Retail Management Certificate (extra).
