Opportunity
The mission of NSWG-2 Logistics Support Unit (LOGSUPPU) is to plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize, and provide logistics support for the Commander, Naval Special Warfare Group Two and its subordinate units to directly support NSW operations and training in peace, crisis, and wartime, at home and forward deployed.
Position is contingent upon contract award.
Security Requirement
Must possess SECRET security clearance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinates with supported commands and prepares required documentation to facilitate movement of munitions in support of NSWG-2 and its component commands.
Provides detailed technical advice and assistance pertaining to the movement of munitions via all modes of transportation. Use technical publications to facilitate shipment priorities.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in shipping clerk duties within the past 5 years; experience with Ordnance HAZMAT shipping.
HAZMAT Certifier certification for shipping.
Documentation of previous Ordnance Qualification/Certification Board Membership.
Valid state driver’s license.
Proficiency in PC with standard business software.
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Accurate data entry into multiple databases.
