Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Import Specialist located in Norfolk, VA. The Import Specialist will manage import-related processes, including handling documentation and coordinating shipments. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, providing outstanding customer service, and managing communication with clients and third-party logistics providers. The role also involves assisting with import and export operations while maintaining a meticulous approach to records management and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in Import, Export, and Import/Export operations
Skills in Customer Service with a focus on effective communication and client satisfaction
Understanding of International Trade and related regulatory compliance
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in relevant logistics software and tools is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field
