O’Reilly Auto Parts – Delivery Specialist – Hub
Job Overview Transport parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center.
Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, delivering to appropriate store.
Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure; be familiar with accident report guidelines.
Ensure designated store team member verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest.
Deliver according to schedule, reporting delays to the city delivery supervisor or remaining‑route stores.
Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations.
Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
Clock in/out per company policy.
Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating vehicle.
Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager; ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicle at day's end.
Drive safely and defensively.
Requirements
Legal state‑required driver’s license.
Must meet company‑mandated driving eligibility requirements.
Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18‑point record system.
Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
Desired
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
Bilingual candidates encouraged.
