We are looking for an experienced
Drywall Estimator
with 5+ years of experience in estimating drywall work on large commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in providing accurate cost estimates, preparing bid proposals, and working closely with project managers and teams to ensure the successful delivery of drywall components on large‑scale commercial construction projects.
Base Pay Range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for drywall work on large commercial projects, including material costs, labor, and equipment.
Develop comprehensive bid proposals for drywall contracts, working with internal teams to compile all necessary documentation and calculations.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and general contractors to review project specifications, blueprints, and requirements for accurate estimating.
Conduct detailed cost analysis and feasibility studies, identifying potential cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Perform accurate material takeoffs and quantification for drywall scopes of work.
Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to gather quotes and ensure the most competitive pricing for materials and labor.
Assist in reviewing and negotiating contract terms, including scope, pricing, and change orders.
Use drywall estimating software (e.g., QuickBid, PlanSwift, OST) to develop estimates, track project progress, and maintain accurate cost data and records.
Support project managers in tracking the budget and costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the project stays within budget.
Provide expert guidance and support to clients, answering questions and addressing any concerns related to estimates or drywall work.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in estimating drywall work on large commercial projects.
Proficiency in drywall estimating software such as QuickBid, On‑Screen Takeoff (OST), PlanSwift, or similar.
Strong knowledge of drywall materials, techniques, and building codes for commercial construction projects.
Experience with material takeoffs, bid preparation, and cost analysis.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy in all estimates.
Knowledge of commercial construction project lifecycle and processes.
A degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus, but not required.
