Overview The main purpose of this job is to monitor and post all domestic and foreign securities related dividends, interest, and principal pay-down payments to the Commerce Trust Company client accounts.
Responsibilities
Monitor and pre‑balance all income event notice reports to ensure timely and accurate posting to client accounts.
Monitor and research out‑of‑balances appearing on income related reconciliation reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of traded security types and the impact various event types have on other aspects of security processing.
Ability to recognize the critical impact of accurate processing and how it affects downstream processes.
Good analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to solve challenging issues and make decisions.
Ability to communicate with various levels of business partner leadership.
Ability to work independently, prioritize and perform varied assignments with frequent distractions.
Motivated and organized initiative‑taker with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Inquisitive, agile, and good collaborator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook.
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
2+ years of financial services industry related experience with securities knowledge preferred.
Compensation & Benefits Hourly: $18.55 - $24.00 (based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies).
