PROGRAM MANAGER | TIER III (MIELS): Bowhead is seeking a Program Manager to support a customer in Stafford, VA. Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. Directly manage staff performance, including evaluations, coaching, scheduling, and professional development. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support program success. Monitor program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability. Focus on implementing program plans, meeting deadlines, achieving compliance, and hitting budget targets. Represent the program in meetings with partners, agencies, and stakeholders, providing updates and advocating for program needs. Direct the work of technical and support personnel assigned to the task and is responsible for overall task performance, product quality, and timeliness of efforts. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology-related discipline or 8+ years or more of practical experience in Program Management. 6+ years’ experience dealing with integration of IT technology, network infrastructure, and software across multiple security networks. Familiar with USMC PoR management, requirements, and the DoD acquisition standards. PMP certification. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to work in a collaborative environment to cohesively meet the needs of the customer. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 25 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level with the ability to obtain Counterintelligence Polygraph. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
