Arkema is seeking a
Plant Finance Accountant – Manufacturing Operations
to lead financial oversight and strategic analysis for our Hydrogen Peroxide business unit. This role is pivotal in driving financial performance across Memphis, TN plant and the Radnor, PA business unit. You will serve as a key business partner to both plant and business unit leadership, providing actionable insights, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making. This is a high‑impact role, ideal for a finance professional with strong manufacturing experience and a passion for operational excellence. The role reports directly to the Finance Manager and indirectly to the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Provide financial leadership and support to plant, BU, and corporate management through timely reporting, analysis, and insights.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly financial close, including variance analysis and journal entry preparation.
Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and special projects.
Oversee plant financial functions related to inventory, production operations, and product costing.
Lead the annual budgeting process for plant operations, including cost allocation and SAP data input.
Engage with plant operations to assess financial impact of activities and recommend performance improvements.
Safeguard plant assets through inventory and fixed asset reviews, and support CAPEX project accounting.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support internal and external audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions)
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Attributes
Cost accounting experience in process manufacturing
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Effective communicator with ability to present to various levels of leadership
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and mentor peers
