Duties and Responsibilities

This is professional, complex work assisting with all administrative, programmatic, and operational activities within the Division of Elections/Bureau of Voter Registration Services (BVRS). This position is responsible for, including but not limited to, the following duties: Requests and distributes court records from various federal, state, and local agencies. Creates comprehensive credible and reliable mental incapacity and restoration case files by comparing and analyzing voter demographic information in Florida Voter Registration System (FVRS) with other approved sources to determine voters’ eligibility to be registered and/or to vote, when back-up assistance is needed. Creates comprehensive credible and reliable felon case files by comparing and analyzing voter demographic information in Florida Voter Registration System (FVRS) with other approved sources to determine voters’ eligibility to be registered and/or to vote. Interacts with Supervisor of Elections staff, other agencies, and the general public through the Voter Assistance Hotline and other communication sources. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Ability to work independently. Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to use deductive reasoning. Ability to use computer-based programs, knowledge with applications: Florida Voter Registration System (FVRS), Voter Focus, Driver and Vehicle Information Database (DAVID) and Comprehensive Case Information System (CCIS). Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed, with short notice. CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS : A Level 2 criminal background check is a condition of employment.
