Assist in purchasing materials, supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization. Qualify vendors, evaluate bids and negotiate prices and terms for purchased goods and services. Track purchases, monitor vendor quality and maintain a current database. Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing material and repairs to support material programs. Assist in the evaluation of available inventory in the marketplace. Ensure that all purchases have documentation that meets AerSale's Quality requirements. Report on PO activity as required by Management. Prepare and distribute Vendor Management reports. Review existing orders and expedite as needed. Update the POs with current price and delivery status. Interface with Program Management regarding market availability of material and coordinate purchases for customer programs. Comply with Corporate Purchasing policies, procedures and guidelines. Coordinate with Corporate Quality to ensure that vendors and purchases meet company requirements. Clerical duties include but are not limited to screening phone calls, filing & scanning. Education And Experience
High school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Skills and Abilities
Must be able to work on projects of limited complexity in a support role. Attention to detail is imperative. Must be able to multi-task. Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.
