Join our team as a Delivery Specialist / Driver at MWI Animal Health, part of Cencora.
Job Details The Delivery Specialist is responsible for delivering product and maintaining inventory for the assigned corporate accounts within the animal health business unit. Product is transported from company distribution facility to customer locations on a daily basis. This role supports Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business.
Compensation Competitive salary, 10 cents per mile bonus, safety bonus, and full benefits starting day 1.

Primary Responsibilities
Drive truck to designated location and load/unload product as needed.
Responsible for delivery, inventory control, and stocking of animal health products at each customer-designated location.
Act as a resource to the customer on topics such as inventory management, equipment and products.
Comply with other requests from MWI Territory Managers and leadership.
Drive a box truck safely and with proficiency.
Inspect truck equipment, supplies, and vehicle systems before and after trips.
Maintain vehicle upkeep, perform general maintenance, address safety concerns, and report discrepancies or needed major repairs to Sales Operations Manager.
Perform emergency roadside repairs.
Ensure cargo is secure during transit.
Maintain accurate driving records and follow all regulations, including DOT and Hazmat procedures, daily log, inspection reports, cargo loads, and customer receipts.
Follow all procedures as detailed in the Delivery Specialist Procedure Manual.
Experience and Educational Requirements
Valid, acceptable driving record and ability to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods during company business.
High school diploma or equivalent is desired.
Six months to a year of related experience is preferred.
Hazmat endorsement and forklift experience preferred.
Adequate mobility to walk and stand, pull orders from various shelf heights, and lift up to 35 lbs regularly (50 lbs occasionally). Occasionally move 100 lbs from pallet to pallet.
Ability to read and understand English, basic math skills, number recognition, and good hand/eye coordination.
Good customer service skills and a sense of urgency are required.
Computer knowledge helpful.
Must be available for on‑call rotation.
Work Environment This position will work in both a warehouse environment and at customer sites, including feedlots and dairies. The position will frequently be exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, temperature changes, humidity, and noise.
Physical Requirements Constant sitting for extended periods, heavy work including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, hearing, eye/hand/foot coordination. Frequently requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, talking, and repetitive motions.
