New Work Schedule:
12‑hour shifts with a 3 or 4‑day work week. Allows full‑time work with up to 16 days off per month! Additional shifts can be picked up.
Pay:
Average $18.67/hour ($16.00/hr weekdays, $24/hr weekend premium).
Shifts
3‑days a week 7 am - 7 pm
12‑hour work shifts allow full‑time work and benefits with more days off per month.

What You Will Do
Ensure services to client meet the highest quality possible.
Ensure that client budgeted hours are provided.
Support staff to understand and implement client’s care plan.
Ensure effective relationships between all stakeholders of the organization (clients, staff, P/G/A’s, case managers, etc.).
Be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all documents and reports relating to the position.
Ensure clients are educated and empowered to make choices about services.
Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and implementation of the client’s Life Plan, in accordance with client’s preferences.
Follow established safety practices and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients and the organization.
Work effectively within a team to enhance service delivery.
Respect the right to privacy of the client, and confidentiality requirements of Candeo.
Use initiative to think creatively, learn, and grow.
Model and use good decision‑making skills and access appropriate resources to assist in developing quality services for clients.
Attend organization‑specific training and provide documentation of certifications required for employment with Candeo.
Comply with documentation policies by submitting accurate and timely paperwork including progress notes, billing sheets, time sheets, expense logs, and other required reports.
Maintain documentation of services provided that clearly and legibly reflects the client’s goals, staff intervention and support, client response and progress made.

Qualifications & Experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in working with individuals with disabilities and mental health is a must.
Licenses/Requirements:
Valid Class C Iowa Driver’s License.
Proof of Automobile Insurance.
Must pass required background checks.
Access to a reliable computer and internet for documentation, or ability to travel to a location with access.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills, compassion, and sensitivity while maintaining professional boundaries.
Ability to follow detailed Individual Support Plans.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability in attendance and punctuality.
Work Environment
Client home and community including but not limited to medical providers, retail stores, outdoor recreation, and indoor recreation.
Work and travel in all types of weather, including inclement weather.
Travel
During scheduled work hours.
Approved mileage and expenses are reimbursed.
Physical Demands
Bending, sitting, standing, twisting, reaching, driving, climbing stairs, climbing or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell, lifting and carrying.
Must be able to lift and carry various items when supporting clients; including groceries, supplies and to provide physical assistance to clients as indicated in the client Individual Support Plan.
