Product Manager – Electrical Distribution, Panelboard & Switchboard We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Electrical Products (EP) business, supporting our panelboard and switchboard portfolio within the low‑voltage electrical distribution apparatus segment. This hybrid position will be based in Grand Prairie, TX, with consideration for Peachtree Corners, GA for candidates already local to Atlanta.

Responsibilities

Strategic Product Leadership:

Lead the complete product lifecycle roadmap for specific MTO low voltage distribution products – busway, switchboard, switchgear, power panels, lighting panels, and power monitoring solutions with a strategic focus on data center needs.

Market & Portfolio Growth:

Act as the entrepreneurial force behind your product lines, developing portfolio strategies, defining project scopes, and creating robust business cases to outpace competitors in profit and market share.

Execution & Launch Excellence:

Oversee project execution with cross‑functional teams, orchestrate successful product launches, and lead phase‑out activities efficiently.

Financial Stewardship:

Develop and lead pricing structures, conduct comprehensive financial planning, and make data‑driven decisions impacting multi‑million‑dollar profit targets.

Customer & Market Engagement:

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key customers, proactively identify evolving market needs, and translate them into actionable product requirements. Engage with the sales channel to optimize go‑to‑market strategies for both simple and complex apparatus markets.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or other STEM field); other degrees accepted with a minimum of 3 years of directly relevant electrical industry experience.

3+ years of experience with the following:

Product management, design engineering, application engineering, or related roles within electrical distribution and circuit protection.

Technical understanding of low‑voltage electrical distribution products, applications, and customer requirements.

Hands‑on experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) processes.

Demonstrated understanding of business, ownership mentality, and urgency in getting results.

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, Business Development).

Gathering, interpreting, and acting on voice of customer (VOC) insights.

Financial analysis capability, including pricing management and business case development.

Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Ability to travel approximately 20% (1–2 times per month) for customer visits, conferences, training, and distributor events.

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Broader experience across sales, business development, finance, or operations.

Knowledge of electrical distribution sales channels and go‑to‑market strategies.

Experience with data tools like Tableau is a plus.

Experience influencing product changes and shaping long‑term product strategy.

Familiarity with data center electrical distribution requirements.
