Overview The Pictsweet Company, a 4th generation family‑owned business established in 1945, is a frozen vegetable producer with strong agricultural roots. We are expanding and seeking a Network & Security Operations Manager to lead our network, security, server, and help desk teams. This role combines technical responsibility with managerial duties, including hands‑on configuration, troubleshooting, leadership, task delegation, mentoring, and ensuring the stability and security of our infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the Network, Security, Server, and Help Desk team.
Architect and maintain enterprise‑wide network and server infrastructure.
Serve as the subject‑matter expert and primary technical resource on security and networking—including firewalls, routing, switching, wireless, SD‑WAN, VPNs, endpoint protection, security awareness, phishing campaigns, vulnerability scanning, email security, and content filtering.
Guide infrastructure roadmap development and modernization efforts.
Aim to stay abreast of new technologies and emerging features within our existing infrastructure.
Lead the evaluation, testing, recommendation, and implementation of new systems.
Ensure resilient architecture through disaster recovery planning, high availability, and security controls.
Continuously improve help‑desk ticketing processes and enforce their use.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with business units to align infrastructure with company goals.
Mentor technical staff and promote knowledge sharing and skill development.
Maintain excellent documentation, change control, and infrastructure standards.
May inherit and manage corporate telephony systems in the near future.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in an enterprise network or security role.
Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, virtualization, Active Directory, and servers.
Preferred certifications: CISSP or CISM, Cisco CCNA or higher, Palo Alto PCNSA or higher, VMware VCP or higher, Microsoft MCSA or higher, ITIL Practitioner or higher.
Proven leadership or team‑lead experience.
Ability to evaluate and learn complex IT systems and make strategic recommendations.
Take ownership of systems, ensuring they are documented, reliable, resilient, and continually improving.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Effective at evaluating, recommending, and implementing new systems.
Always looking for ways to make things faster, simpler, safer.
Stay up‑to‑date with trends and emerging technologies.
Balance innovation with stability and long‑term support.
