Position Overview Northern Clearing Inc., a leader in right‑of‑way clearing, is currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee all stages of the project life cycle under a vegetation management master service contract.
Responsibilities
Manage all stages of the project life cycle under a vegetation management master service contract.
Work directly with the Project Superintendent on tasks such as setting up and maintaining a field construction office.
Track change orders and handle project‑related contract administration.
Submit and track project hours, timekeeping records, jobsite inventory, project progress reports, supervision logs, etc.
Track equipment, fuel, and materials.
Manage 811/Once Call ticket processing.
Code and collect receipts from crew members.
Ensure compliance with company and client expectations.
Qualifications
Previous project management experience is required.
Experience in Microsoft Project or Primavera preferred.
Professional degree or diploma.
Proven interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Well‑versed and comfortable on a computer.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
About the Job
Position requires travel within Wisconsin and Michigan for site visits, project kickoffs, conferences, etc.
Project schedules are typically 6 days per week, 10‑hour days (Monday–Saturday).
