Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on metrology equipment and gauges.
Conduct dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies using precision instruments.
Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other automated measurement systems.
Analyze measurement data, identify deviations, and generate detailed inspection reports.
Troubleshoot measurement discrepancies and provide technical support to production and quality teams.
Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, measurement results, and equipment history.
Assist in the development and implementation of new metrology processes and techniques.
Recommended Qualifications
Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Proficiency in operating and interpreting precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators)
Hands‑on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), including programming and operation
Strong understanding and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical specifications
Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting of measurement results, including basic statistical methods
Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency in programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or Vision Systems.
ASQ certification (e.g., Certified Calibration Technician, Certified Quality Technician).
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
