Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr
Job Description We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and launch of new and existing injection molding programs. This role serves as the primary point of contact between customers and internal cross‑functional teams, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in injection molding, tooling, and automotive manufacturing, with the ability to manage complex programs from concept through production while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional teams through the full lifecycle of injection molding programs, from concept through production launch
Develop and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans
Coordinate tooling design, validation, and production readiness activities
Act as the primary customer liaison to define requirements, provide status updates, and resolve issues
Track and report program performance using KPIs such as cycle time, scrap rate, OEE, and launch milestones
Ensure compliance with quality systems and automotive standards (ISO, IATF 16949, customer‑specific requirements)
Support APQP, PPAP, and launch documentation requirements
Identify program risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
Drive continuous improvement across tooling, processes, and workflows
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (Mechanical or Plastics Engineering preferred)
5+ years of experience in injection molding, tooling, or program management
Strong understanding of mold design, process validation, and manufacturing workflows
Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Gantt charts, etc.)
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer‑facing skills
Experience working within the automotive manufacturing industry preferred
Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling
Working knowledge of GD&T, CAD software, and mold flow analysis
Ability to manage multiple programs in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
