About the Role
As a Department Supervisor, you will support the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities Customer Sales & Profit
Support the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines.
Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
Identify commercial opportunities and work with the Department Manager to act on them.
Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team actively promotes and sells products to customers.
Promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives.
Maintain correct routines in the fitting room and checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges.
Handle all admin routines for people and operations correctly.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keep up-to-date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers.
Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions.
Team & Development
Retain and share knowledge and skills with the store team.
Collaborate, plan and work with the Visual Merchandiser team.
Give and receive feedback to learn, develop and support each other.
Communicate regularly with store colleagues to inform, motivate and inspire – daily and weekly meetings.
Ensure all procedures, routines and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed.
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
Keep the sales floor and back‑of‑house clean and tidy.
Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation with good garment care.
Secure good stock levels and provide input on allocation to the area team.
Maintain the full garment cycle – from delivery to presentation – and fitting‑room routines according to internal standards.
Follow best practice for in‑store OMNI services and tech tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store).
Maintain balanced and consistent price signage throughout the store.
Update and upkeep BOH areas for all colleagues.
Open and close the store daily.

Additional Information Compensation: expected base salary range is $16.23 - $19.15 hourly.
