Supervises nursing staff assigned to a particular shift and assigns patients to available nursing staff, taking into account patient condition and employee skill level. Assesses, monitors, and educates nursing staff on patient care; institutes emergency procedures as necessary. Anticipates staffing needs and moves proactively to respond to them. Oversees stocking of supplies and updates patient records to ensure the nursing floor is ready for subsequent shifts. Job Requirements
Education and Experience
Associates Degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN). Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered nurse. Licensure
Registered Nursing License (RN) in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS); other credentials or credential modules may be required. Where You'll Work
