Essential Job Functions
Manage a team of both hourly and salaried personnel in a fast‑paced environment; responsible for personnel training and development.
Interface with all departments to keep the flow of raw materials and finished products compliant, accurate, and meeting all regulatory and safety requirements.
Overall responsibility for the timely shipment of finished goods from the main warehouse on site as well as a satellite warehouse.
Responsible for department budget, department certifications (DOT training), and certifications for HALAL, RSPO, and KOSHER.
Ensure an accurate inventory count of raw materials and finished goods at all times. Support MSL/POV/SMOG/OEE initiatives.
Work with internal and external business partners to keep the business model flowing and supply chain running. Establish supply chain metrics and continuously improve to meet customer demands.
Identify, develop and build relationships with contract manufacturing, logistics providers, and internal Arxada team members while holding partners accountable to agreed metrics.
Provide backup coverage for both shipping and receiving functions within the plant.
Design a highly reliable supply chain through Six Sigma methodology, isotainer fleet management, inbound and outbound logistics, and manufacturing planning.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field
7–10 years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics (chemical industry desirable)
Role requires an individual that is customer‑oriented and fast moving for a newly developed business model in last‑mile deliveries
