✨Join a group passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage is hiring for an Assistant Program Director at Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, Florida. ✨
Tampa Bay Girls Academy – Secure comprises multiple co‑located residential commitment programs serving high‑risk max‑risk females aged 12‑21. These programs provide services using evidence‑based practices to offer comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling.
Pay:
$65,000 Annually

What you will do The Assistant Program Director / Unit Manager is responsible for the quality delivery and oversight of treatment, education, vocational, and student health and welfare services in accordance with Rite of Passage policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local rules, regulations, licensing, practices, and laws. In the absence of the Program Director, this position oversees day‑to‑day site operations, administrative oversight, and leads the site management team.
Key Responsibilities
Operations: Site operations, policies and procedures; educational/vocational departments; safety, health and welfare of staff and students; clinical services; chairperson for site management meeting; oversee delivery of daily program.
Finance: Assist Program Director with managing budget, site expenditures, position control roster, and reporting.
Human Relations: Train and develop site management team; ensure training compliance; conduct employee evaluations, discipline, and corrective action; maintain proper staffing levels.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (master’s degree preferred).
Minimum four years of related experience in residential facility management.
Experience working with the Florida Dept. of Juvenile Justice.
Empathetic, patient, and respectful.
Pass criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
