Responsibilities

Regularly analyze data, workflow and processes, using numerical and statistical analyses, to make quantifiable cost benefit analysis and recommendations for improvement in subject areas not limited to in/outbound fill rate, inventory, supply/ replenishment planning, cost reduction, distribution and network optimization.

Create measurement systems, reports and forecasts to support cost, quality and delivery.

Own key performance indicators and consistently publish results in a frequency defined by the business.

Conduct advanced data analysis using Power BI, Excel, etc.

Compile and reconcile data from multiple sources into formats to be leveraged by Business Partners and Senior Leaders

Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting and analysis to Business Partners and Senior Leaders

Responsible for gathering data and conducting analysis with the goal of improving the supply chain operations

Identify underperforming areas and recommend improvements and resolutions to issues

Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data

Collect and analyze data to monitor performance against targets & trends, to identify problematic areas and recommend solutions

Monitor data and system rules to ensure data integrity

Conceptualize and build centralized tools (including dashboards) that the Global Operations team can use to extract data/insights for daily business management in an automated manner

Work with end users to gather KPI details, business logic and data requirements for new dashboards.

Translate user requirements into technical requirements. Collaborate with IT to determine the appropriate data repositories. Balance needs of agility to support end users and long-term maintainability.

Create data model to accurately reflect business reality. Optimize as necessary to deal with system constraints.

Visualize data collaboratively using dashboarding best practices end user requirements as a starting point. Refine dashboard based on key user feedback both before go-live and on a continuous basis.

Develop user training for dashboards and analytics platforms to increase adoption across the organization.

Educate users on best practices for maintaining data feeding reports and act as liaison on them with appropriate IT resources if needed.

Engineer novel ways to extract data from legacy platforms efficiently and reliably.

Capture data that is not available in existing production systems. Ensure data can be validated and used in dashboards on an ongoing basis without manual intervention.

Coordinate dashboard refreshes with external systems to ensure data is reliable before publishing

Evaluate new automation opportunities and platforms to reduce manual error and non-value-added work across the supply chain.

Perform project management functions for new business implementations, leading departmental action items/tasks

Identify and prioritize efforts to support and improve analytics within the supply chain.

Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure implementation of effective systems

Enforce global reporting standards and lead efforts to ensure KPIs are globally consistent

Create and facilitate user acceptance testing and drive adoption of reporting tool sets across the Supply Chain organization

Increase ease of access to organizational data by prioritizing supply chain datasets to be moved into BI and data repository systems

Qualifications Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics Statistics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or other related discipline

This position is available at multiple levels:

Level I: 0-2 years of relevant experience in supply chain data or operational analytics

Level II: 2-4 years of Supply Chain Data Analytics Experience

Level III: 4+ years of Supply Chain Data Analytics Experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

Professional Certifications, CLTD, CPIM, or CSCP

Experience with SAP & Bower BI

Experience with Project management

Advanced Experience with MS Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word)

Experience in leading a cross functional team without direct authority of team members
