CNC Saw Operator A dedicated and skilled CNC Saw Operator is needed to join our team in Houston, TX. You will be essential in the material preparation process, ensuring raw stock meets precise specifications required for our advanced CNC machining operations.

Location: 6525 Homestead Road, Houston, TX 77028

Work Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday

What You'll Do

Precision Cutting: Set up, program (as needed), and operate various automated/horizontal band saws to accurately cut raw material stock to specified lengths and angles.

Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret complex work orders, blueprints, and engineering drawings to determine correct dimensions, material types, and optimal cutting methods.

Quality Assurance: Conduct first‑piece inspections and in‑process checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, scales) to verify dimensional accuracy and cut quality against strict tolerances.

Material Handling & Safety: Safely move, load, and stage incoming and outgoing materials using powered industrial equipment, including overhead cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine operator‑level maintenance and keep the workspace and machinery clean, organized, and running optimally for a safe work environment.

Team Collaboration: Assist the production shop team in other manufacturing areas when needed, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to overall production goals.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience operating automated cutting or CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.

Proven ability to accurately read and interpret measuring scales, blueprints, and engineering schematics.

Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).

Strong safety awareness with strict adherence to all safety protocols (LOTO, PPE, etc.).

Ability to safely lift, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Prior certified experience driving a forklift and/or operating an overhead crane.
