The Food Service Worker supports the food service area by preparing, serving, and storing food items for students, faculty, and staff. They also maintain food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition, perform routine cashiering tasks, and operate the school’s computerized point‑of‑sale system. Timely and regular attendance is critical to Punahou’s effective and efficient operation and is an essential condition of employment.
Position Details
Work Year: 10.5 Months
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (schedule may vary based on operational needs)
Minimum Hourly Rate: $17.00 / Hour – compensation is commensurate with qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) preferred.
Previous food service experience preferred.
Prior working knowledge of point‑of‑sale systems preferred.
Incumbent will need to obtain a ServSafe Certification within 6 months of entering the position.
