Job Summary This position is with Western Midstream Southern Region as a member of the Delaware Gathering team in the Kermit/Orla, TX area. The incumbent will supervise the daily production activity, including the safe, environmentally sound, and cost-effective management of oil treating, gas gathering facilities, water gathering, and related transportation.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years relevant midstream field operations experience.

Ability to conduct employee performance coaching/training and to manage complex scheduling.

Strong organization and planning skills, and flexibility to manage through change.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem‑solving abilities.

Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of work practices, procedures and protection of the environment, including compliance with all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.

Work closely with the Sr. Foremen and Superintendent on all aspects of Operations.

Coordinate field activities from daily work to project work, under the direction of the supervisor.

Manage midstream operations and general maintenance of gas gathering facilities, central transfer facilities, and central processing facilities.

Optimize transportation and facility throughput, minimize downtime, and avoid environmental and safety risks.

Direct daily operations tasks of company and contract personnel, and coordinate activities with other work performed in the field such as small construction crews and maintenance crews.

Mentor midstream operators (Western Midstream and contract) in facility operations, including troubleshooting.

Liaise between field personnel and other functional support groups (SWD, Oil handling, and midstream) providing operational input to projects.

Assist with budget preparation and control costs within budget limits.

Prepare bid documents and maintain costs for all phases of midstream operations such as facility operations, pipeline operations and construction projects.

Use company databases and programs such as CygNet, SAP, Intelex, etc.

Provide support for other supervisory personnel, including vacation relief.

Education

Minimum of HS Diploma or GED required.

Associate’s Degree, Trade School or applicable professional certifications preferred.

Certifications/Licenses

Valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.

Travel Requirements

Travel required: 0–10%

Work Schedule

Eligible for a 5/2 40‑hour/week, 7/7, or 14/14 12‑hour shift schedule.

WES reserves the right to change employees’ schedule if required by business.

Candidate must live within 75 miles of Kermit or Orla, TX.
