Join Wintermute as a
Business Development Associate
in New York City, leading growth for our OTC and liquidity provisioning businesses.
What you will work on
Grow the OTC business across both the traditional finance and crypto native ecosystems, including manual and RFQ execution.
Deepen relationships with existing crypto projects and acquire new ones for the crypto liquidity provision business.
Develop high‑profile relationships with crypto VCs, institutional investors, miners, and other ecosystem parties.
Work with cross‑functional teams to drive brand awareness in the key markets you are responsible for.
Develop existing relationships with exchanges globally and bring them to the next level.
Keep track of key launches and crypto ecosystem news, proactively identifying cooperation and business development opportunities.
Hard Skills Requirements
BA and 1‑2 years of experience in a high‑performing, high‑pacing environment (consulting, banking, fintech, etc.).
Experience with the financial services/capital markets industry; crypto markets and/or trading companies/hedge funds is an advantage.
Experience in business development or any client‑facing role (B2B sales, management consulting, investment banking, sales & trading, etc.). Be ready to talk about numbers/quota achievement.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written – clear, concise, precise, a good listener, following up on promises.
Comfort navigating legal and commercial aspects of business development.
Strong product knowledge of OTC derivatives.
Understanding of and interest in token structures, market making, CEX and DEX liquidity provision, and trading/market liquidity dynamics.
SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses preferred.
