Entry Level Bilingual (Korean/English) Ocean & Air Import/Export Coordinator

Position Overview The Entry Level Bilingual (Korean/English) Ocean & Air Import/Export Coordinator is primarily responsible for operationally filing entry documents, tracking, and updating the movement of ocean freight, and ensuring compliance with import and export clearance regulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments daily
Work collaboratively with the Traffic Department and Accounting to provide top‑notch, timely, and efficient service to customers
Monitoring of reports
Accurate and timely billing to customers
Providing customer service via email and telephone correspondence to address customer questions and concerns
Ensure customer needs are consistently met and assist to resolve inquiries
Expedite clearance and delivery to exceed customer requirements
Work well in a team environment and assist other peers when needed
Maintaining good relationships with various vendors such as carriers, truckers, terminals, etc.
Process and manage import and/or export shipments
Prepare price quotes on international freight
Prepare necessary documents for shipments
Develop and maintain relationships with customers as well as vendors specifically steamship lines and customs
Research and resolve operational problems
Requirements and Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bilingual (English & Korean)
Excellent listening and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize, multitask, organize, and manage time effectively
Previous experience in logistics, cargo management, supply chain, customer service, dispatcher, warehouse, logistics specialist, administrative assistant, data entry, transportation, and logistics analyst is preferred
Pay, Benefits and More
Pay Range: $44,000-50,000 per year
